Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1920746A2] The foldable wheelchair comprises base frame carried by wheels with seating surface and backrest. The rear frame has two hinged cross bars (10). The cross bars have an inner pipe (11) and two outer pipes (12) connected to inner pipe at a variable distance. The seating surface and the backrest comprises individual vertically changeable belts. The cross bars are connected with each other by a detachable rod as hinge connection.
