Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1920848A1] The system has an application device for applying a fluid e.g. polyurethane adhesive, on a plate (1a) i.e. wood plate, from top. Two carrying devices (3a, 3b) are provided below the applying device, where the carrying devices are designed for carrying the plate in a transport path (2). The carrying devices are movable from the transport path into a region, which is protected from the fluid application, when no plate is available. The carrying devices exhibit rollers i.e. friction rollers, in a transport direction of the transport path. An independent claim is also included for a method for applying a fluid on a plate.
