Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1921008A2] The packing method involves warping a peripheral surface (4) with a packing web (5), made of paper (6). The peripheral surface of a material web roller (1) has two front sides (2,3) and a roller width (B). One warping (8.1) is placed on the material web roller, such that the warping intersects a leading edge (9), arranged perpendicularly in one intersection (S.1). Last warping is placed on the material web roller, such that the warping intersects an end edge (10) of the previous warping, arranged perpendicularly in another intersection (S.2).
