Treatment of fiberfill fibers includes contacting fibers with aqueous dispersion of organopolysiloxane obtained by reacting organopolysiloxane comprising condensation-capable groups and specific siloxane units with silane or its hydrolysate in the presence of water and emulsifier. Treatment of fiberfill fibers includes contacting fibers with aqueous dispersion of organopolysiloxane obtained by reacting organopolysiloxane comprising condensation-capable groups and units of formula R a(OR 1>) bSiO (4-(a+b))/2(I) with silane of formula (R 3>O) 3SiCR 2>2-Y (II) or its hydrolysate in the presence of water, emulsifier, optionally further silane of formula (R 3>O) xR 3-xSi-R 6>-Z (III) or its hydrolysate, and optionally further materials which do not take part in the reaction of organopolysiloxane with silane (II). Provided that no metal-containing catalysts are used and the organopolysiloxane and silane (II) are used in such amounts that the organopolysiloxane forms toluene-insoluble elastomeric film after removal of water. R : H or 1-18C monovalent hydrocarbyl optionally substituted with heteroatoms N and/or O; R 1>H or 1-8C alkyl, preferably H, Me, or Et; a : 0-3; b : 0-2; R 2>1-4C monovalent alkyl or preferably H; R 3>1-8C alkyl; Y : -NHR 4>, -NR 4>2, or -NR 5>; R 4>1-18C monovalent hydrocarbyl optionally containing N and/or O; R 5>3-12C divalent hydrocarbyl optionally containing N and/or O; R 6>3-18C divalent hydrocarbyl; Z : amino, aminoalkylamino, epoxy, or (meth)acryloyloxy; and x : 1-3. Provided that a+b is = 3 and the organopolysiloxane contains an average OR 1>radical(s)/molecule.

Verfahren zur Behandlung von Füllfasern mit wässrigen Dispersionen von Organopolysiloxanen erhältlich durch Umsetzung von kondensationsfähige Gruppen aufweisenden Organopolysiloxanen (1) gemäß Anspruch 1 mit Silanen (2) der Formel €ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ (R 3 O) 3 SiCR 2 2 -Y€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ(II) oder deren Hydrolysate, wobei R 2 ein Wasserstoffatom oder einen einwertigen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 4 C-Atomen bedeutet, R 3 einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 8 C-Atomen je Rest bedeutet, Y einen Rest der Formel -NHR 4 , -NR 4 2 oder ist, wobei R 4 und R 5 die in Anspruch 1 dafür angegebene Bedeutung haben, in Gegenwart von Wasser (3), Emulgator (4) und ggf. weiteren Silanen (5) der Formel €ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ (R 3 O) x R 3-x Si-R 6 -Z€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ€ƒ(III) oder deren Hydrolysate, wobei R 6 einen zweiwertigen Kohlenwasserstoffrest mit 2 bis 18 C-Atomen bedeutet und Z einen Rest ausgewählt aus der Gruppe der Amino- oder Aminoalkylaminoreste, Epoxyreste und (Meth)-acryloxyreste bedeutet, und x 1, 2 oder 3 bedeutet, und ggf. weiteren Stoffen (6), die an der Umsetzung nicht teilnehmen, mit der Maßgabe, dass keine Metall-haltigen Katalysatoren mitverwendet werden und dass die Organopolysiloxane (1) und Silane (2) in solchen Mengen eingesetzt werden, dass die Organopolysiloxane nach dem Entfernen des Wassers (3) elastomere Filme bilden, die in Toluol unlöslich sind.
