[origin: EP1921225A1] The formwork component (1) with a formwork panel (2), has a reinforcing device (3) which has diagonal struts (4) in a region (3a) which extends parallel to the plane of the formwork panel. The diagonal struts are directly or indirectly rigidly connected to the formwork panel. The reinforcing device consists of a lattice structure with at least one longitudinal chord (5) and diagonal struts, wherein the regions (3a,3b) are formed by the diagonal struts which are bent basically at right angles. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for producing a formwork component in which a lattice structure is bent along a bend line basically at an angle of 90 degrees; and (2) a joint formwork consisting of two formwork components.
