Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2007020350A1] The invention relates to a safety seat for a baby or a very young child for use on a vehicle seat. The inventive seat comprises a seat structure and an intermediate structure (50) which forms a link between the seat structure and a standard anchoring unit that is associated with the vehicle seat, said intermediate structure comprising a first structure (100) and a second structure (200). According to the invention, the detachable, direct click-lock elements comprise lateral lugs (52) which are articulated around a common axis (53). In addition, the aforementioned first structure comprises lateral arms (101) forming rails on which travellers belonging to the second structure (200) are mounted, said travellers being connected by means of a transverse bar. Moreover, each lateral arm (101) is equipped with peg toothing which co-operates with a ratchet borne by an associated traveller, the pegs of said toothing defining a plurality of axial positions in which the second structure (200) is locked.
