Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007022653A1] The spout closure comprises a spout (15) with a corresponding spout cap (1). The free opening of the spout is sealed in one piece (5) by a sealing plate and a cutting ring (8) is formed on the underside of the spout cap (1) which fits in the free opening of the spout. Cooperating guide means (4,9) are provided on the outer side of the spout and the inner side of the top. On rotation of the spout cap (1) in the opening direction the above causes the spout cap (1) to be firstly pressed against the spout (15) with a part of the cutting ring (8) thereof which breaks off the sealing plate (5) that is then removed from the spout. The sealing plate (5) further comprises a concentric annular wall (6) on the upper side thereof in the spout (15) and, on the inner side of the lid of the spout cap (1), a clip ring (7) is formed concentrically, which on fitting the cap (1) encloses the annular wall (6) on the sealing plate (5) and generates therewith a clip connection. On lifting off the cap (1) after the initial opening the broken off sealing plate (5) is retained on the cap (1).
