[origin: WO2007023453A1] This invention relates to a washer/dryer comprising a drum (3) usable volume of which is increased by reducing the distance between the tub (2) and the drum (3). The drum comprises a seam (6) formed by bending the overlapping edges of the drum body (4) and the two circular lids (5, 50) exterior to the volume formed by the lids and the body, projecting from the outer surface of the body towards the tub, being in the form of a protrusion having a space underneath and bent towards this space, towards the central axis of the body or towards the lid.
