[origin: WO2007006445A1] The invention relates to a method for producing an antifalsification paper for security documents or valuable documents, comprising at least one continuous opening (12) exhibiting characteristic irregularities (14) in the edge region thereof. According to the invention, a paper web comprising narrow strips with a contour corresponding to the desired shape of the at least one continuous opening (12) is formed, and the paper web is drained following the formation of the sheet. The region defined by the narrow strips is extracted from the paper web by means of the generated forces.
