[origin: WO2007022987A1] The invention relates to a method for assembling a crankshaft drive comprising a crankshaft (6) and at least one connecting rod (8) with a crankshaft-side connecting rod head (9), in a crankcase (1) of a piston compressor, involving the following assembly steps: a one-piece connecting rod (8) is inserted through a cylinder opening (2) of the one-piece crankcase (1); a crankshaft (6) is inserted through a crankshaft bearing opening (11) of the one-piece crankcase (1); the crankshaft (6), with the end located inside the crankcase (1), is threaded through an opening of the connecting rod head (9) until the connecting rod (8) is located in the assembled position relative to the crankshaft (6) and, together with the connecting rod bearing seat of the crankshaft (6), forms a press connection.
