Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2889886A1] The lamp has two flat glass plates (2, 3) delimiting an inner space (10) filled of gas for emitting ultraviolet (UV) radiation or exciting a phosphor material (6) for emitting the radiation. The material is disposed on inner surfaces (22, 32) of the glass plates. A pair of electrodes (41, 51) is supplied by an alternative voltage and is associated to the glass plate (2). The pair of electrodes is disposed outside the inner space, where the glass plates are realized in radiation transmitting material.
