[origin: EP1923176A1] The drill has an electrical driving motor (1), and a tool spindle (2) rotatably driven by the driving motor. The tool spindle and a hammer tool (3) are driven directly by a motor shaft (6) of the driving motor by using a single-stage transmission (4, 5). A motor axis of the motor shaft and a shaft axis of the tool spindle are positioned at an angle relative to one another, where the angle is in a range from 60 to 120 degrees. A pinion is located on the motor shaft, and a ring gear is located on the tool spindle, where the gear meshes with the pinion.
