Abstract (en)
The injector (1) has a longitudinal channel (5) with a wide-mouthed part (7), a needle roller (15) and a nose (3), by which fuel is injected in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The nose has holes (9, 10) shifted forward with respect to each other along an axis of the injector. The needle roller has a hollow body (17) traversed by a channel (19) in which the fuel circulates. The needle roller is displaceable in the longitudinal channel for mapping a lateral opening (18) with one of the holes.

L'invention se rapporte à un injecteur (1) de carburant pour moteur à combustion interne à injection directe, comprenant un canal longitudinal (5,7,8), une aiguille (15) et un nez (3), par lequel est injecté le carburant dans une chambre de combustion située dans un cylindre du moteur, ledit nez (3) possédant deux rangées de trous (9,10), décalées l'une par rapport à l'autre suivant l'axe de l'injecteur (1). La principale caractéristique de l'injecteur (1) selon l'invention, est que l'aiguille (15) est constituée par un corps creux (17), traversé par un canal (19) dans lequel circule le carburant, et possédant une ouverture latérale (18), ladite aiguille (15) pouvant être déplacée dans le canal (5,7,8) de l'injecteur (1) pour mettre en correspondance ladite ouverture (18) avec l'une des deux rangées de trous (9,10).
