Abstract (en)

The exchanger has a set of flat tubes (101) for providing a flow path for a fluid. A fin is supported between the tubes, and is positioned along a flow path for another fluid e.g. air. The fin and the tubes partially define a core. Tanics are positioned adjacent to opposite ends of the tubes. An elastically deformable side part (120) extends across a heat exchanger core, and has a pair of integrally formed caps for closing openings in tanks (104), where the caps contact the core. The side part has a rigid central part arranged between the caps, and contacts an outermost tube of the core. An independent claim is also included for a method of assembling a heat exchanger.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmeübertrager als Löt - oder Schweißkonstruktion, der Schmal - und Breitseiten (11, 12) aufweisende Flachrohre (1) und Wellrippen (2) sowie Sammelkästen (3) sowie in wenigstens einem der Sammelkasten (3) eine Trennwand (10) oder dergleichen besitzt, um die Durchströmungscharakteristik des Wärmeübertragers entsprechend auszubilden. Weil gemäß der Erfindung die Sammelkästen (3) mit in Abständen angeordneten Vorsprüngen (30) ausgestattet sind, die im Bereich der Schmalseiten (11) in die Enden der Flachrohre (1) eingreifen, wobei sich die Trennwand (10) quer und / oder längs zwischen zwei Reihen (A, B) von Vorsprüngen (30) erstreckt, werden fertigungstechnische und funktionelle Vorteile erreicht.
