Abstract (en)
The X-ray source has a radiation protection casing with an X-ray tube (26) having anode (28) and a filament (5). A cooling plate (36) with connections for cooling anode, firmly connects with casing such that X-ray tube rotates in 90[deg] along axis perpendicular to plane of cooling plate. A spray nozzle (31) having slit (32) in parallel to filament, connects with X-ray tube and provides cooling water to cooling plate. The seals (R1-R3) arranged between cooling plate and X-ray tube, seals the cooling water while rotating X-ray tube relative to cooling plate.

Zusammenfassend beschreibt die Erfindung eine Röntgenquelle, bei der eine Kühlplatte (36) zur Wasserkühlung der Anode (28) einer Röntgenröhre (26) auf einem Strahlenschutzgehäuse (20) fest montiert ist, und wobei die Röntgenröhre (26) im Strahlenschutzgehäuse (20) und gegenüber der Kühlplatte (36) drehbar gelagert ist. Kühlplatte (36) und Röntgenröhre (26) haben zueinander ein geringes axiales Spiel, welches die Drehbarkeit gewährleistet. Radiale Dichtungen (R1, R2) stellen über das gesamte axiale Spiel eine ausreichende Abdichtung des Kühlwassers sicher. Vorteilhaft ist an der Röntgenröhre (26) eine Dichtplatte (27) zur Adaption an die Kühlplatte (36) befestigt. Mit der erfindungsgemäßen Röntgenquelle kann in einem Geräteaufbau leicht zwischen verschiedenen Fokusarten gewechselt werden.
