[origin: WO2007025678A1] The invention relates to a tool for machining workpiece surfaces, comprising at least one adjustable, geometrically defined blade (7), an adjusting device (29) which is used to adjust the distance of the blades (7) in relation to the central axis (33) of the tool (1). The adjusting device (29) comprises a drive (11) which acts upon an adjusting slider (31) via a drive (25), which determines the distance of the blade (7) in relation to the central axis (3) of the tool (1). The adjusting slider (31) is embodied as a round slider which is arranged in an eccentric manner in relation to the central axis (33) of the tool (1). Said tool (1) is characterised in that the drive (25) has a high gear reduction and acts directly upon the adjusting slider (31).
