The handle (St) has a moulded mounting (27) for receiving a wound electrical lead cable (10), the length of the handle provided with an open insertion slot (24) into which the lead cable is fitted, with spaced retaining indents (25) along the open insertion slot, the vacuum cleaner end of the lead cable provided with an appliance plug socket for the vacuum cleaner (1). Also included are Independent claims for the following: (a) a power regulator incorporated in a vacuum cleaner handle; (b) an appliance plug socket fitted to an electric vacuum cleaner lead cable.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gerätestiel für einen Staubsauger, und schlägt zur Erzielung einer handhabungstechnisch verbesserten Ausgestaltung vor, dass der Gerätestiel (St) über seine Länge eine nach außen offene Einlegenut (24) aufweist, zur Aufnahme des Anschlusskabels (10).
