The skin (1) has a skin side and a gluing side for detachably fastening under a bearing surface of skis having edges, by a ski tip in a direction of a ski end, where the skin has a connected, integrated, and bifurcated form. Skin straps (11) are attached to a head part (10), and are passed into even skin strap regions (14) in a flexible direction from the head part over a narrow joint point (12) and an adjustable section (13). The strap regions correspond to breadth of the edges such that the skin is adapted to breadth and shape of the bearing surface and is fastenable to the ski.

Es wird ein Steigfell (1) zur Befestigung auf einer Lauffläche eines Skis von einer Skispitze bis zum Skiende beschrieben, welches zwei Fellstreifen (11) mit jeweils einer Fellseite und einer Kleberseite umfasst, die in einen Kopfteil (10) münden, so, dass das Steigfell (1) eine zusammenhängende, einstückige, gegabelte Form aufweist. An den Kopfteil (10) schliesst sich jeweils eine Gelenkstelle (12) an, welche eine Ausrichtung der an die Gelenkstelle (12) anschliessenden Anpassstrecke (13) erlaubt. Die Anpassstrecken (13) jedes Fellstreifens (11) gehen jeweils in einen geraden Fellsteifenbereich (14) über, welcher in Richtung Skiende entlang des Randes der Lauffläche verläuft.
