Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1925550A2] The method involves determining power consumption of a submarine boat and storing the power consumption as a situation dependent consumption profile for a defined journey situation. The situation dependent consumption profile is determined during normal driving of the boat using the actual power consumption and driving speed of the boat. Remaining journey time or remaining capacity of a battery is determined after a defined journey duration based on the stored consumption profiles and current battery data for the same journey situation by a storing and evaluation unit (4). An independent claim is also included for a device for determining remaining journey time of a submarine boat.
