[origin: EP1925557A1] A first machine unit (FMU) (11) takes the form of a packing station with a vertical packer. A second machine unit (51) has a rotating station. On the FMU there is a machine frame (12) and a covering hood (13). On the front side there is a moving control desk (32). Two mounting devices (14,15) each carry foil reserve rolls (16,17), from each of which strips of flat foil material are unwound. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A device for cutting off projecting ends on foil bags by a torch with pieces of packaging of different sizes in respect of the direction of conveying a preset width; (2) A device for enveloping and welding in pieces of packaging of different sizes in foil material.
