Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1925704A1] A drum adapted to be rotatably mounted in a tub of a washing machine or washer dryer presents a cylindrical wall provided with perforations and with a plurality of bulges (16). Such bulges are oriented towards the exterior of the drum and are shaped as frustum of pyramid. The perforations of the drum are centred within the bulges.
