[origin: EP1925765A2] The locking device (10) comprises an operating device (15), which is arranged on a door (11) having two locking elements (17,20), connected directly with it. The locking element (20) has an inner and an outer safety catches, which are pivoted in a housing fixed to the door. The catches are loaded directly or indirectly by a spring element in closing direction. By operating the operating device all locking elements are movable from the locking position into an unlocked position. Both catches are movable opposite the acting force of the spring elements by operating the operating device.
