[origin: EP1925892A2] The heat pump has a device for increasing pressure and a device for reducing pressure, which divides a closed loop of a working medium into a low pressure area and a high pressure area, and has a heat exchanger (6). Another device is electrically and thermally connected with the low pressure area of the heat pump for producing electrical and thermal energy. The device is directly coupled to the cycle of the working medium to make available of electrical and thermal energy in low pressure area. An independent claim is also included for a method for the operation of the heat pump.
