[origin: WO2007033717A1] An air-jet unit (3) for an air-jet spinning apparatus for producing a spun thread (4) from a staple fibre composite (2) contains a swirl chamber (9) and a plurality of injection ducts (10, 21) which open into the swirl chamber for feeding fluids. At least two injection ducts are provided which have a different angle of inclination with respect to a parallel line to the axis of the spun thread. At least two injection ducts having different angles of inclination can be connected to at least one compressed-air source. The injection ducts having different angles of inclination can preferably be connected to compressed-air sources which can be regulated separately.
