[origin: WO2007031097A1] A system (2) according to the invention for forming subdivisions on storage surfaces comprises a planar base element (4) on which the storage surface (6) is formed, at least one subdivision element (8) which can be connected to the base element (4), and at least one pin-like anchoring element (10) for anchoring the subdivision element (8) on the base element (4), wherein the anchoring element (10) can be inserted in a mounting hole (12) in the base element (4). According to the invention, the base element (4) is prefabricated without mounting holes, with the material and material thickness of the base element (4) being selected such that the base element (4) can be perforated by a user using a hand-operated perforating tool to form mounting holes (12).
