Abstract (en)

A fabric for outer wear incorporates a combination of raw cotton yarn and rainbow wool yarn. The raw cotton yarn and the different colors of rainbow wool yarn are jointly employed in the desired color sequence as a warp, as a weft, and as a combined warp and weft. The yarns pass together through the entire prior art textile weaving process to create a rainbow-effect fabric with different color effects. The fabric has tone-in-tone color effects, or different color effects, ranging from pastel to bold colors. The fabric may be dyed to produce plain white material for use as clothing damask.

Abstract (de)

Aufgabe der Erfindung ist sowohl ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Ton-in-Ton-Gewebe für Oberbekleidungsdamast, bei dem aus dem durch einen an sich bekannten Webprozess hergestellten einfarbigen Gewebe mit geringstem technischen Aufwand, auch in kleinsten Chargen und unabhängig vom Webort, farbiges Ton-in-Ton-Gewebe hergestellt werden kann, als auch ein färbbares Oberbekleidungsdamastgewebe. Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, dass ein Baumwollrohgarn und mindestens ein Rainbow-Baumwollgarn miteinander als Webkette, als Schussmaterial oder in Kombination als Kette und Schuss in einem an sich bekannten textiltypischen Bearbeitungsprozess verwebt werden. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Ton-in-Ton-Gewebe für Oberbekleidungsdamast und ein Oberbekleidungsdamastgewebe.
