[origin: EP1927697A1] The calendar (1) has a printing device (21) applied against an effective direction of a force unit of a charging pressure. The printing device is connectable and disconnectable in dependence of a load-conditional adjustable line force in a nip (3) that is limited by a bending-controlled roller (4) i.e. end roller. A fluid supply unit e.g. supply lines (17, 18, 22) and delivery line (23), is provided, where the fluid supply unit supplies a hydraulic and/or lubricating medium to bearings (15) and the printing device. The printing device is formed by an annular space.
