Abstract (en)
The conductor has central composite rods (1A-1C) constituted of continuous carbon fibers impregnated by a matrix of thermosetting resin i.e. epoxy resin. The rods are respectively covered with layers (2A-2C) of insulating material, and conducting wires (3) made of aluminum or aluminum alloy are wound around the rods. A short-circuiting device short-circuits the fibers and the wires, and is arranged at an end of the conductor.

L'invention concerne un conducteur de transport électrique en particulier pour lignes électriques aériennes et comportant au moins un jonc composite central (1) constitué de fibres continues imprégnées par une matrice de résine thermodurcissable, ce jonc étant revêtu d'au moins une couche de matière isolante (2) et des fils conducteurs en aluminium ou en alliage d'aluminium (3) étant enroulés autour de ce jonc. Selon l'invention, le conducteur comporte un dispositif de mise en court-circuit des dites fibres et des dits fils conducteurs (3).
