[origin: EP1928065A1] A Medium Voltage gas-insulated switch-disconnector comprising: a gas-tight housing which contains an insulating gas; for each phase, a moving contact, a fixed contact and an earthing contact positioned inside said housing; an operating mechanism for moving said moving contact between open, closed and earthed positions. The gas-tight housing comprises a first, upper, half-shell and a second, lower, half shell coupled in a gas-tight manner, one of said first and second half shells being made of metal material, the other being made of polymeric material.
