Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1930930A1] The electrical circuit breaker has two switching parts (10,20) with two contacts, a drive for moving the former switching part along a switching axis (3), and a gear (2) for transferring the motion of the former switching part to a motion of the latter switching part. The gear has lever (30), which is hinged with a swivel point (31) at the former switching part. The lever is hinged with a prismatic joint (35) at the rotating element (50). The prismatic joint defines a firm angular relation between the lever and the rotating element. An independent claim is also included for a method for a contact opening of the electrical circuit breaker.
