[origin: WO2007022965A1] The invention relates to a method and to a vehicle combination for machining railway lines or components of the superstructure of the railway lines. The rail screws are consecutively loosened or unscrewed by means of a first screw machine (S1) in a continuous working process, optionally, the rail or both rails of the railway line are lifted from the railway sleeper in the loosened section, the desired working process is carried out on the railway lines or on the superstructure of the railway line and, optionally, the rail screws are re-screwed by a second screwing machine (S2) after lowering the rails onto the railway sleeper.
