The dust inlet (2) is provided with an annular dust duct (4) while the primary air inlet (3) is equipped with an annular air duct (5). In order to create a dust burning device (1) which is designed in a simple and inexpensive manner while being very efficient, a central duct (7) is disposed in the housing (6) of the dust burning device (1), a burner apparatus (8) encompassing an ignition mechanism (9) is placed in the central duct, and a combustion air inlet (10) is connected to the central duct (7).
