Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2007048278A1] The invention concerns a method to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio of a radio communication signal. The method is distinguished by multiplying the Fourier spectrum of an input communication signal component-wise with a spectrum shaping sequence, selected such that the spectrum-shaping sequence is having a Fourier spectrum whose energy in a finite interval is maximised. The invention also relates to a transmitter and a receiver of a radio communication system, and such a radio communication system.
