Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1932643A2] The method involves manufacturing the material from fibrous plants, especially hemp or flax or a mixture of these, cutting the plants to lengths of 2 to 30 cm, processing the plants to separate fibers and wooden components and drying the fibrous plants so that the material formed contains stalk pieces containing fibers and wooden components of the plants, whereby fibers and wooden components remain essentially in their natural composition. An independent claim is also included for an intrinsically stable material board of fibrous plants, especially hemp or flax.
