[origin: EP1932997A2] The upper end (44) of a sill has a locking device which consists either of a locking leg (50) arranged on the end facing away from the door stop side and lockable in a locking slot (54) arranged in the weather strip (12) or in a hollow profile (14), or between the weather strip and hollow profile, or consists of a locking device (52) which in use is located against the door stop wall of the hollow profile, or consists of both the locking leg and the locking device. An independent claim is included for a locking system for a sill in which a section of a locking component is brought to bear at least partially on the end of the weather strip pointing towards the door side and aligning with the outside contours of a locking strip.
