Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1933597A1] The heater (1) has at least one heating element (2) with at least one positive temperature coefficient or PTC element for heating a fluid with at least one row of bridges (4) joined by at least one connection region (6). The PTC element is contacted via contact plates (3) at opposite edges for current input or output. At least directly adjacent areas of the contact surfaces of the element and plate bound an outer air channel, whereby a number of current input and output regions are provided that are separated the outer air channels. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle heating or air conditioning system with at least one inventive heater.
