[origin: DE102005049267A1] Longitudinal runner or telemark connector (10) comprises a slidable mounting connection housing (31) in which there are sole-side grip elements (15, 22) of a shoe (11) that is link to insert elements (16, 23). The insert elements have a respective bearing in the connection housing, particularly on the underside of the connection housing in which there is a base plate (32) that has a firmly anchored mounting plate (33), particularly a metal plate. The connection housing and the base plate may be made from plastic. The mounting plate may be connected with the under side of the connection housing, particularly the base plate. The insert elements' bearing may be a rotary bearing (34, 35) that has upwardly extending cheeks (36, 37, 38, 39) to hold a linkage axle (18, 40).
