Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2891590A1] The device (1) has a recirculated gas flow reversing unit comprising a pivoting shutter (3) provided within a cylinder so that the cylinder is divided into two distinct volumes, where the position of the shutter defines the circulation of recirculated gas flow. A recirculated gas inlet (e1) emerges into the cylinder and is placed in a face of a recirculated gas outlet (s1). A recirculated gas inlet orifice (e2) is defined on the cylinder between the inlet and the outlet, and is found in face of an outlet orifice (s2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a recirculated gas cooler (2) a method for recirculating exhaust gas.
