Verstellvorrichtung für ein Steuerelement einer Wasserweiche eines Wasser führenden Haushaltsgeräts, wobei die Verstellvorrichtung (10) einen durch eine Steuerelektronik (12) ansteuerbaren Elektromotor (14), eine Wasserweiche mit einem Steuerelement (16) zum Beeinflussen des Spülmittelkreislaufs (18), Mittel (20, 22) zum Übertragen der Drehung des Elektromotors auf das Steuerelement und Mittel (24, 26, 28) zum Ermitteln der Stellung des Steuerelements aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Elektromotor (14) ein links- und rechtsdrehender, einphasiger Synchronmotor mit zwei Anschlüssen ist.
