Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1936047A1] The drain fitting for a sanitary component, especially a bath or shower tray (2), with an inflow opening (5) and outflow opening (24), has an essentially annular drain channel (16) downstream of the inflow opening and with an encompassing outlet opening which is sealed by at least one sealing lip (12,13) which acts as an odor trap. The outlet opening is arranged essentially coaxially to the inflow opening. The sealing lip forms a drain angle of about 30-45 degrees to the horizontal.
