The component has a core (2) made of plastic foam, where the core has two large-area sides and a both-sided coating (11) provided on the sides. The coating on one side has a coarse-meshed textile layer (5). The coating on the other side has a foil layer (13) and a non-woven material layer (14) that is arranged on the sides of a foil. The upper surface of the coating in the latter side is implemented in a smooth manner. The non-woven material layer is attached directly to the core, and the coating on the latter side is glued to the ore by a synthetic resin e.g. polyurethane adhesive.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein flächiges Bauelement mit einem Kern (2) aus einem Kunststoffschaum, wobei der Kern (2) eine erste und eine zweite gegenüberliegende großflächige Seite und eine beidseitige Beschichtung auf diesen aufweist, wobei die Beschichtung der ersten Seite eine grobmaschige Textillage (5) aufweist. Die Beschichtung der zweiten Seite (10) weist eine Folienlage (13) und eine auf der dem Kern (2) zugewandten und/oder abgewandten Seite der Folie angeordnete Vlieslage (14) auf. Das flächige Bauelement ist hierdurch kostengünstig herstellbar, einfach transportier- und montierbar und eine Herstellung der Bauelemente bzw. einer Verkleidung mit hoher Maßgenauigkeit und verbesserter Schalldämmung ist möglich.
