[origin: EP1936097A1] A guide rail (1) has a U-shaped cross-section, two side-walls (12) running almost parallel to each other and a fixed link (13) for interconnecting the two side-walls. Held in the guide rail, a sealing element (3) seals a gap between a door and a floor or ceiling when a door is closed. On a first side of the guide rail on a front-side end of the first side-wall opposite the fixed link, an air channel stretches along the first side-wall, then along the fixed link and finally along the second side-wall. An independent claim is also included for a door with a door-seal system.
