Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1936106A2] A roller blind mounting system including at least one roller (3), at least one telescopic end plug (13) and at least two brackets (7). The telescopic end plug (13) is engageable within an end-opening of one of said rollers (3). The telescopic end plug (13) includes a hollow body (21) and a telescopically movable member or plunger (23) co-axially positionable with respect to the hollow body (21) such that a first axial extending length portion (65) of the plunger (23) projects from the hollow body (21) and a second axial extending length portion (63) is held within the hollow body (21 ). The plunger (23) is telescopically movable between a first end position in which the first axial extending length portion (65) of the plunger (23) projects from the hollow body (21) and a second end position in which at least part of the first axial extending length portion (65) is inserted into the hollow body (21). At least one of the brackets (7) includes a central aperture and the first axial extending length portion (65) is mountable to the central aperture of the bracket (7). The bracket (7) can further include at least two pairs of openings positioned radially about said central aperture with the opening of each pair being in line with each other. An operating module or a leveler module, or both can be provided having mounting means adapted to co-operate with the at least one pair of openings of the bracket (7).
