A lubricant-sealed rotary vane vacuum pump and motor has a pump stage located within a housing, a safety valve, a lubricant pump with an inlet and outlet, an external lubricant reservoir and hydraulic line. The lubricant delivered through the line opens the safety valve. The line from the lubricant pump to the safety valve has a branch line allowing lubricant under pressure to flow into the lubricant reservoir.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine schmiermittelgedichtete Drehschiebervakuumpumpe mit Motor, einer ein Pumpstufengehäuse aufweisende Pumpstufe, Sicherheitsventil, Schmiermittelpumpe, welche Einlass und Auslass aufweist, ein das Pumpstufengehäuse wenigstens teilweise umgebendes Schmiermittelreservoir und Hydraulikleitung, wobei das durch Hydraulikleitung geförderte Schmiermittel das Öffnen des Sicherheitsventils bewirkt. Um eine Überhitzung des im Schmiermittelreservoir befindlichen Schmiermittels zu verhindern, schlägt die Erfindung vor, dass zwischen Auslass der Schmiermittelpumpe und Sicherheitsventil ein Kanal von der Hydraulikleitung abzweigt, durch den unter Druck stehendes Schmiermittel in das Schmiermittelreservoir strömt.
