The operating process is for a centrifugal pump, the revs of which can be regulated, with an unstable pump characteristic (9). The effective pump characteristic (9') at a low throughput rate is raised sufficiently to ensure that there is only one intersection point between it and the actual pipeline network characteristic (Rb).

Das Verfahren dient zum Betreiben eines drehzahlregelbaren Kreiselpumpenaggregats mit instabiler Pumpenkennlinie (9) und zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die wirksame Pumpenkennlinie (9') zu geringen Fördermengen hin durch Drehzahlerhöhung so weit angehoben wird, dass sich nur ein Schnittpunkt mit der aktuellen Rohrnetzkennlinie (Rb) ergibt.
