Abstract (en)

Penetration bullet comprises a component having two parts (AWM, M) made from materials of different thicknesses. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a penetration bullet. Preferred Features: The component is in the shape of a rod or plate. The two parts of the component are arranged axially behind each other in the spreading direction of the detonating charge. The part (M) has a higher material density than the subsequent part (AWM).

Erfindungsgemäß werden Wirkladungen (L) zur Erzeugung von Penetrationsgeschossen vorgestellt, welche ein Aufweitmaterial (AWM) aus einem im Ziel nahezu ballistisch unwirksamen Werkstoff geringer Kompressibilität und wenigstens einer das Aufweitmaterial (AWM) radial umgebenden Hülle (M) aus einem im Ziel ballistisch wirksamen weiteren Werkstoff enthalten, wobei sich die Werkstoffe des Kerns (AWM) und der Hülle (M) bezüglich der Dichte deutlich unterscheiden. Außerdem können vor und/oder nach dem Aufweitmaterial (AWM) weitere Materialien (M2,M3) vorgesehen sein, welche gegenüber dem Aufweitmaterial (AWM) deutlich unterschiedliche Eigenschaften aufweisen.
