The airport traffic information-display system (1) has an image processing unit (9) provided for the selection and presentation of an alert focus of a selected line of vision on the observed airport area of the corresponding foveal panorama segment and concurrent presentation of information about moving objects represent in the peripheral, outer foveal panorama segment. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for representation of an airport area on a display unit, which is observed (2) computer program with program code unit.

Ein Flughafenverkehrsinformations-Anzeigesystem (1) mit mindestens einer auf einen zu beobachtenden Flughafenbereich ausrichtbaren Kamera (2), einer mit der mindestens einen Kamera (2) verbundenen Bildverarbeitungseinheit (9) und mindestens einer mit der Bildverarbeitungseinheit (9) in Verbindung stehenden Anzeigeeinheit (11) wird beschrieben. Die Bildverarbeitungseinheit (9) ist zur Auswahl und Darstellung eines dem Aufmerksamkeitsfokus einer gewählten Blickrichtung auf den beobachteten Flughafenbereich entsprechenden fovealen Panoramasegments und zur gleichzeitigen Darstellung von Informationen über Objekte im nicht dargestellten peripheren, außerfovealen Panoramasegment eingerichtet.
