Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1936750A1] The sealing element (10) has a slot (12) that is extended, by the sealing element, for receiving a flat conductor. The slot is defined by an elastically ductile material in such a manner that the surfaces of the elastically ductile material are lying on one another during non mounting of flat conductor. The elastically ductile material has an elastomer material, e.g. a rubber or a silicone. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a sealing element, which involves inserting flat conductor into an area wise wedge-shaped inlet guide.
