[origin: WO2007020363A1] The invention relates to an intracerebral probe (11) consisting of: a first part (20) comprising laser or cryogenic treatment means, a second hollow part (22) which surrounds the first and in which the first part can slide along the longitudinal axis (A) thereof, and several detectors (16) which are distributed along a portion of the second part (22) such that they can locate a cerebral dysfunction zone along the longitudinal axis (A) of the second part. Advantageously, the inventive probe is equipped with a lateral treatment window which can be used to direct the action of the treatment means. The invention also relates to a treatment device and kit comprising one such probe. The invention further relates to the use of same for the treatment of cellular dysfunctions causing neurological or psychiatric symptoms.
