[origin: WO2007031784A1] A method of applying a sleeve (10) to an article (12). A web of heat-sealable material is provided. A series of portions (14, 16, 18) are formed on the web, each portion comprising at least one printed area (20). Sequential portions are severed from the web. Each severed portion is applied around an article (12) with two opposed edges overlapping. Heat is applied to seal the two opposed edges together.
